Physiotherapist Gahoi Kim

Gahoi Kim

Physiotherapist

BScPT

Gahoi obtained her Bachelor of Physical Therapy from Korea University, one of South Korea’s leading institutions, and brings over seven years of experience working in private musculoskeletal practice before moving to Canada. She successfully completed the Ontario Internationally Educated Physiotherapy Bridging Program (OIEPB) at the University of Toronto and is practicing as a registered Physiotherapist in Ontario.

During her career in Korea, Gahoi trained in a variety of advanced techniques including Soft Tissue Release, Active Release Technique, Mulligan and Mckenzie Concept, and Movement Link. She also worked as a Pilates instructor, integrating movement-based rehabilitation into her physiotherapy practice. These experiences shaped her holistic and patient-centered approach, focusing not only on relieving symptoms but on addressing the root cause to restore long-term function and confidence in movement.

She is currently pursuing advanced post-graduate training in orthopaedics, having completed AIM Level 1 of the Orthopaedic Division curriculum, and is continuing through Level 2 courses with the goal of attaining Fellowship in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). In addition, she is registered for an Integrated Dry Needling course to further broaden her expertise in manual therapy and needling techniques, with a strong interest in supporting patients with complex musculoskeletal pain.

Gahoi provides care in both English and Korean.
